Dino Sensory Bin - Use What You Have

Ok definitely not Pinterest worthy, but it's real!  And was pretty easy and free too!

My little one went on a search around the house for all of his toy trees and dinosaurs.

I have a couple other items separated into bins in baggies by color. We recently did a project based on the "Blues" exhibition at the local Quilt Museum

I also have various things arranged by color. Maybe it's an ADHD brain hack, maybe it's an artist thing, idk, but it make this sensory bin very quick to set up.

Green - trees and grass
Red - volcano and lava flows
Warm colors - lava and ground
Space themed rocks - my 3 year old insisted on including them so there they are as well

And dinosaurs

My little one likes to dig and find hidden objects, but a friend of his likes to use tongs so we made these clothespin grabbers to play with too

What are your kiddos favorite colors, toys, or tasks?

What do you already have laying around?

How can you use items in New ways? Can you wrap presents or unroll a volcano?
